Wiggly Woo is an activity run by members of the Mt Hawthorn Community Church (MHCC).
MHCC has been a part of the Mt Hawthorn community since 1998. We are a small, independent Christian church, with no official ties with any church denomination.
We meet on Sundays at the Mt Hawthorn Community Centre (Lesser Hall) at 9.30 a.m. Adults and children meet together for the first part of the service. There are separate activities for children after that. We all get together again for morning tea.
There are also a number of small groups which meet during the week, as well as occasional activities, such as film nights and lunch in the park.
Mount Hawthorn Community Church draws its membership from a variety of church and social backgrounds, and is open to all who are curious, or seeking to discover more about the Christian faith and their own spiritual journey. We don't employ full time clergy but draw upon the resources of our community as well as inviting speakers from across the Christian spectrum to share with us. We have been priviliged to hear from people of diverse Christian faith traditions and vocational callings. As you can probably deduce from your experience of Wiggly Woo, we take an informal approach, holding lightly while taking seriously our time of worship together. The best way to find out more is to come along. You are welcome any Sunday, to our 9.30 -ish service.
